03 / CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT

Built around the way
your business works.

Sitepilo develops custom websites, web applications and business tools when an established platform does not cover the workflow you need. We define the users, essential actions and integrations before choosing the technical approach.

Starting point
Who uses it, what they do and what connects

Start with a specific problem.

A custom project might be an enquiry workflow, a customer-facing application or an internal tool connecting services that currently require manual work. A marketing website can also need a custom approach for an interactive product explanation or an unusual presentation.

We begin with a real task: who needs to do what, which information they use and what should happen next. That gives us a practical way to separate essential features from later improvements.

Custom code is one option. When WordPress, Shopify or an existing service covers the requirement well, we discuss that route before expanding the build.

Define the behavior before the stack.

Flows & interfaces
The screens, actions, roles and states needed to complete each agreed task.
Data & integrations
What data the application needs, where it comes from and the external systems it connects to.
Access & error states
Who can see or change information, and what happens when a request is rejected or a service is unavailable.
Implementation & review
A working preview with checkpoints against the features agreed in the scope.
Deployment & ownership
Hosting requirements, handover access, operating responsibilities and the support arrangement.

Make the first version concrete.

Describe the workflow as it happens today. A short example is more useful than a long feature list: who starts a request, what they enter, who reviews it and how the result is used.

List the systems the project must connect to and any existing technical restrictions. External APIs, platform rules, account eligibility and paid services can affect what is feasible, so we check dependencies before promising an integration.

We agree on the first release and its acceptance criteria, then identify what can wait. The quote should also cover source-code handover, hosting, maintenance and any ongoing third-party costs.

Keep the scope understandable.

Do you build interactive and 3D websites?

Yes. Creative development can include motion, video and interactive 3D when they help explain the product or story. Our Odyssey concept study shows an approach to cinematic web storytelling.

Can you connect an external API?

We review the provider documentation, account access, data requirements and operating limits first. The integration is scoped only after those dependencies are understood.

How do you decide what belongs in the first release?

We identify the essential user task and the features needed to complete it. Each feature should have a clear expected result and a way to review it in the working preview.

What happens after delivery?

Deployment, access, source code and operating responsibilities are agreed before launch. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and new features need a defined support arrangement.
