SELECTED WORK / INDEPENDENT CONCEPT
An epic story.
One unfolding journey.
The Odyssey is an independent web concept built around a journey through Greek myth. It explores how a website can give a story its own pace, using a fixed visual stage, chapter text and transitions between scenes.

Give the reader a sense of a journey.
The brief was to turn a sequence of mythic locations into a continuous web experience. The challenge was more than choosing striking images: text, scene changes and the time spent on each scene needed to work together.
A fixed visual stage keeps the reader inside the story while chapter text provides context. The project combines cinematic scenes and illustrated treatments, using the change in visual language to give different moments their own character.
Design the handoff between scenes.
The implementation uses static images as resting points and video as a transition between selected scenes. The visual sequence is coordinated with the chapter structure so the page has a clear reading order.
The concept explores a custom front end with dedicated media and transition logic. It shows the kind of creative development that can support a campaign, cultural story or product narrative when a standard page structure is not enough.
Story, media and interface working together.
- Art direction across a connected set of scenes.
- Chapter-based content on a persistent visual stage.
- Transitions designed around the adjacent still images.
- A reading experience that coordinates imagery, text and pacing.
The visuals are AI-generated assets created for the concept. The project is an independent creative study inspired by the Odyssey, with no affiliation to the film or its production.
Use the technique where it helps the story.
A similar approach can be discussed for a campaign, product explanation or editorial feature. We would start with the message, the scenes needed to explain it and the devices on which it must work.
Media production, loading behavior, accessibility and mobile presentation need to be included in that scope. Explore our custom and creative development service to see how a project is planned.
